Apple pie with nuts, poppy seeds and raisins
Approaching the cozy and homely time of year. In the air like odors of cinnamon and tangerines. Very soon you will hear the clink of glasses, and we hurry to congratulate their relatives and friends with the most magical holiday.... In the meantime, to brighten up your everyday work, offer to eat a piece of cake with a thin layer of dough and a flavorful, rich, you might say, stuffed. I think the pies with the apples loved by many, and with such additions, like nuts, poppy seeds and raisins, indifferent will not stay! Recipe from Vysotskaya with my remarks.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Butter

    125 g

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon

    1.5 piece

  • Apple

    2.5 piece

  • Raisins

    50 g

  • Walnuts

    50 g

  • Mac

    2 Tbsp

  • Cardamom

    3 piece

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Ginger

    0.5 Tbsp

  • Vanilla

Cooking

Chop the chilled butter with sifted flour, add to the crumbs zest of 1 lemon. In the original recipe it is proposed to add to the dough 1 tablespoon brandy or cognac. I have rarely found both, so I did not add.

Then use your hands to knead the dough, divide into 2 parts in an approximate ratio of 1/3 and 2/3.

Distribute a large part of the test shape (I have a form with a diameter of 23 cm), making edges, remove half an hour in the fridge.

Meanwhile, cook the filling. Grate apples on a coarse grater.

Add in apples, finely chopped walnuts, pre-soaked raisins, poppy seeds and lemon zest.

There also add spices - cinnamon, ginger and cardamom. Grains extracted from cardamom pods and grind either in a mortar or with the back of a spoon.

Add the sugar, vanilla and mix thoroughly naschu flavored stuffing (you can add 2 tablespoons of brandy).

Now get the form with the dough from the refrigerator. Spread the filling over the dough and press it. Here I must say that I was in for a surprise. In the original recipe it was suggested to roll out the remaining 1/3 of the dough and make a "cover". But my test is not enough to "cover", so I will divide it in an arbitrary order on top of the filling and that well conceived:-[ Morality - if you want the dough was more noticeable, it is necessary to do 1,5-2 rules:-) Or you can use a smaller diameter form. But I felt fine, I just like to test it a little. So put the pie in a preheated 180 degree oven for 20-30 minutes. After the specified time, you can get the pie to give it a little cool...
