Cottage cheese dumplings in tomato sauce
Incredibly tender and tasty dumplings with a flavorful tomato sauce. Many men do not like sweet dumplings, including my husband. But in this version, the dumplings are eaten on "cheers" and not only men.

Ingredients

  • Cheese

    250 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    5 Tbsp

  • Tomatoes in own juice

    250 ml

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Pepper

    1 piece

  • Nutmeg

    0.5 tsp

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

  • Greens

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

To start making the dough. Mix cottage cheese, egg and flour. Dough salt, pepper and add some finely chopped greens. While the dough over.

Onion cut into half rings. Garlic finely grind them. I love the aroma of fried garlic, so I took 2 large zubochka. You can take less, and if you do not like do not put.

While the tomato season, I took the fresh and broke the blender. If preparing in the winter, then take the tomatoes in their own juice or harvesting of tomato juice. If nothing, then take 1 tbsp of tomato paste and dilute in a glass of water.

In a pan heat the oil. Onions and garlic, fry until slightly Golden. Pour in the tomato juice. Add finely chopped pepper, nutmeg, salt and black pepper. Reduce fire and simmer sauce 15 minutes.

While the sauce is boiled put water on the dumplings. From the test roll balls size of a walnut.

Salt the water and cook the dumplings after surfacing 7 minutes.

On a plate put the sauce on top of the dumplings. Sprinkle with greens.
