Cookies
A great option for any tea party: Saturday, holidays or simply evening. Shortbread cookies, like, a classic of the genre. But it's all about orange jam, cooked myself from fresh orange juice. Chocolate glaze crowns all creation and... help yourself! Remain happy both adults and children. Remember, like the song of the Soviet cartoons: "carousel, Carousel! It is a joy for all. Where we stop nobody knows!" And ride on my merry-go-round!!!

Cooking

step-0
Our products. (I was only 4 oranges on hand, still need 5 pieces).
step-1
Mix the flour with sugar, baking soda, quenched with vinegar, vanilla. Eggs, beat.
step-2
Add to the flour mixture and sugar, eggs and softened butter. Knead a dough.
step-3
From rolled dough layer of about 3 mm cut out cookies (is there anything you want, any shape).
step-4
Put the liver on a greased vegetable oil a baking sheet, bake about 25 min until Golden brown.
step-5
That's what we've got!
step-6
While baked our "carousel", make jam. Oranges wash, peel, cut into slices and squeeze the juice. Here I was lucky: in my kitchen Arsenal is a small juicer. She me here and helped out. The juice is filtered.
step-7
In a saucepan with a thick bottom boil the syrup with sugar and water (you need 1/2 Cup water). About the amount of sugar, I pointed out, as in the recipe - 1/2 Cup. But I personally, in the course of cooking, added up to a whole Cup (it seemed to me that the jam will turn out watery). In the boiling syrup add orange juice, cook until thick over low heat, stirring constantly. Moment "until thick" I arrived 35-40 minutes later. That is, does the cooking time of conventional cooking. The jam is fragrant, emerald green, simply delicious! You can, of course, and the ready jam in the store to buy. But it's his, in this magical moment, the whole point (well, at least for me). The jam is allowed to cool. I apologize for the lack of photos of the finished jam. Had problems with the camera. But believe me, the jam is amazing!
step-8
Next, glue jam cookies in pairs.
step-9
Cook the glaze. Mix the powdered sugar and cocoa, add 6 tbsp of hot water and melted butter. Stir.
step-10
The finished cookies pour frosting, decorate as desired. I have these options:
step-11
And, you can so!
step-12
Or so! In General, fantasize!
step-13
Well, our merry-go-round is ready. Go!
