Strawberry pie
Delicious pie with a juicy filling and a crispy browned crust will be a nice addition to tea during lent!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    250 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Brown sugar

    70 g

  • Leavening agent

    7 g

  • Vegetable oil

    40 g

  • Water

    7 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Figure

    60 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Strawberry

    400 g

  • Starch

    2 Tbsp

Here are the ingredients on our list

In a bowl combine the flour with the baking powder, sugar and pinch of salt mix dry ingredients.

Add oil and ice water, mix

Knead the dough on the table if there is not enough water, then pour 1 tbs. of the dough was plastic

And roll up in a ball. Wrap the dough in cling film and 30 minutes to go in the fridge.

Meanwhile we will prepare our rice stuffing. For this avarice rice according to instructions on package, adding 2 tbsp sugar and a pinch of vanilla, pour into a bowl to let the rice cool

Take the dough and divide into 2 parts - one should be slightly larger than the other.

Roll out the bigger part

It should be according to the form that formed the basis of the bumpers for our pie. I had a form with a diameter of 21 cm.

Now spread the rice evenly,

On top of the strawberries

Strawberries sprinkle with 50 g sugar and starch

Roll out smaller piece of dough and cover the top our pie (you can also cut the dough strips to make pie semi-open)

Our pie cut the edges of the dough, grease with vegetable oil, make the center cut and sprinkle lightly with brown sugar. Bake at 180 degrees for 50 minutes
