The Neapolitan migliaccio
Soon February 23 and I want to offer you to cook traditional Neapolitan pie for your favorite men. This cake is prepared in Naples during the celebration of Carnival.

Prepare all the ingredients and a baking pan pie

In a saucepan, heat the milk and water, add the skin of lemon and orange, cinnamon. When the milk boils, take out the peel and a thin stream pour semolina, carefully and continuously stirring. Stir until a dense mass. Remove from heat, put in a cold place to cool.

Meanwhile, in the container of a blender add sugar, ricotta and grated orange zest. Mix using the blender. At the same time put the oven to preheat at 180 degrees.

The resulting mass we shift to a large bowl, add eggs and how to stir with a mixer. After that add already cooled thick porridge and once again promoseven until a homogeneous mass.

Grease the form of butter, fill the resulting mass and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes (until the formation of a yellow-brown crust). To cut cake easily, it needs to be cool. Then sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
