Cooking
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough.
Heat on a slow fire for 120 grams of butter, sugar and honey until the sugar is dissolved. Do not allow to boil! Then remove from the heat and allow to cool honey-oil mixture, so it was not hot. Add the egg yolk and quickly mix (protein reserve, you will need it for the icing)
Sift the dry ingredients: flour, spices (to taste, I took 0.5 teaspoons of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove)and baking powder.
Honey-oil mixture added to the dry mixture.
Knead the dough. If necessary, add flour. The dough should get quite steep. Remove it in the fridge for an hour.
Out of cardboard do a piece for the house.
Take the dough from the refrigerator, roll out to thickness of about 3 mm and cut out of our future house. Bake at 180 degrees for approximately 12 minutes, will begin to brown immediately remove. Baked items put on a flat surface. If the dough is somewhere up, slightly flatten the flat part of the knife, and the sharp part of the knife to cut the bumps, just quickly while hot.
Prepare the icing. Get protein from the refrigerator, whisk it a bit at the lowest speed and add sifted powdered sugar (at the rate of 30 grams of protein and 150 grams of powder), add a couple drops of lemon juice. Whisk until thick peaks but not more than 3 minutes. Cover the bowl of icing for 10 minutes with a damp towel.
Now all get to decorate our house: frosting, cookies, candy, sprinkles...
With the help of pink frosting Dr.Oetker decided to make my house pink. Windows and doors can simply draw. I decided the window "glazing".
Jelly took dr. Oetker, prepared according to instructions, but something did not grow together) the remnants of the jelly left in a later well, so unplanned, the well was filled) Then took 10 and jellies in a water bath warmed with 45 ml of water and flooded the (Better walls with window openings pre-put on a silicone Mat (see photo above), it marmalade be easily separated) p.s. Can Windows even beaten to glaze candy, but I have them in a few days begin to melt (
The roof and the facade is decorated according to your wishes. You can see the options on the Internet. All parts of the house decorated with, wait for complete drying and attach to each other using icing. I decided to go ahead. With the blue glaze Dr. Oetker made the river.
Built a bridge across the river and a well with a bucket. (Though the canopy of the well in result of processing of the composition collapsed).
Then he built another house with gingerbread men), put the Christmas tree.
