Smoked ribs with dumplings
Old Latvian national dish, which is now not often seen on our tables. In my performance has acquired a new, original sound using sauce "Teriyaki" with honey from TM "Kikkoman".

Ingredients

  • Yogurt

    60 ml

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Salt

    2 pinch

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Sauce-marinade

    3 Tbsp

  • Pork ribs

    0.5 kg

It's the principal products. The ribs for this dish you will need smoked.

Flour, eggs, sour milk and a pinch of salt knead the dough. I used a beaker of 250 ml. the Batter is not cool.

Let the dough rest 30 minutes and make small dumplings.

In boiling water add 2 tbsp. sauce "Teriyaki" with honey from TM "Kikkoman", put smoked pork ribs and dumplings. Boil them after boiling, about 5 minutes. Focus on the readiness of the dumpling.

The old-timers still remember the days of peonage, hard work, in high season, from dawn to dusk and hearty, nutritious food to maintain strength.
