Cooking

step-0
Preheat the oven to 180C. Pour in the pan the orange juice, add the dates, baking soda and 150 ml. of water. Put on fire and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
step-1
Whisk butter with sugar in a lush cream. Whisk in orange zest and vanilla extract.
step-2
Then enter the eggs one by one, each time carefully whisking.
step-3
Gently stir the flour with the baking powder.
step-4
Again boil date-orange mixture and parts of it into the dough.
step-5
Place the silicone mold on a baking sheet and pour in it the dough.
step-6
Bake for 30 minutes until a sample on a dry stick. I use wooden skewers.
step-7
Give five minutes to cool in the oven, then gently spread on a lattice ( the pudding is very delicate, in the photo you can see I made a small slip up) and leave until cool.
step-8
Meanwhile, prepare caramel sauce. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat on a low heat, stirring constantly, the cream with the sugar and butter until the sugar is dissolved. Turn up the heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stir and remove from heat.
step-9
Cut the pudding into 8 servings and place on dessert plates. Pour the sauce and serve pudding alone, or add whipped cream or ice cream. Bon appetit!
