Carrots in a honey glaze in the Indian
In Indian cooking even a simple dish magical and unusual. The philosophy of Indian Vedic cooking is that the dishes should be not only tasty, but also useful. The same view is taken by I, and therefore, I am doubly pleased to share with you the recipes of the magical cuisine of India. So, today I present to you a simple but incredibly stunning dish "Gajar Sabji" carrots in a honey glaze with ginger root.

Ingredients

  • Honey

    1 Tbsp

  • Ginger

    0.5 tsp

  • Melted butter

    1 tsp

  • Parsley

    1 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    0.5 tsp

  • Black pepper

    0.125 tsp

  • Turmeric

    0.25 tsp

  • Cumin

    0.5 tsp

  • Water

    0.125 cup

First, let's prepare all the needed ingredients.

Now peel and cut the carrots in rings, with a thickness of about 3 mm. Cut it at an angle (oblique cutting).

Now break off a piece of ginger root and clean it from the skin, as well as we do it with the usual potatoes.

Then our grate peeled ginger on a fine grater.

Melt the butter in a saucepan with a thick bottom or a skillet with high sides and a tight lid (in which to cook vegetables).

On a heated oil, pour the cumin and fry it until it begins to crackle.

... cover with a tight lid. Now, diminish the heat to low and leave to stew the carrots for about 20 minutes.

Well, the carrot was soft and the dish is almost ready. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and herbs.
