Braised sauerkraut with cranberry sauce
Sausage, Kale and cranberry sauce - the perfect combination, classic cooking.

Ingredients

  • Sauerkraut

    500 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Sauce

    3 Tbsp

  • Sweet white wine

    200 ml

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Juniper

    5 piece

  • Spices

In vegetable oil fry until Golden roughly chopped onions.

Add the sauerkraut, put the juniper berries and Bay leaf, cover and stew on low heat for a few minutes.

Pour in wine, cover and on low heat simmer for about 45 minutes.

Add cranberry sauce, mix well, flatten on salt, sugar, pepper. Depending on the acid cabbage sugar may need more or less. I did not add it at all, I had the sweet sauce. Remove from heat, serve with grilled sausages or braised pork.
