Octopus in wine with herbs
Friends, a couple of days ago we returned from the amazing island of Santorini. Many people know that Greece is a gastronomic Paradise, but it is Santorini in 2013 is the gastronomic capital of Greece. I want to share with You simple and delicious recipes of Greek dishes we tried in the cafe and repeated in our kitchen in Greece. Welcome!

Ingredients

  • Octopus

    4 piece

  • Wine white semi-dry

    100 ml

  • Olive oil

    50 ml

  • Spices

    10 g

  • Tomato paste

    60 ml

  • Red onion

    1 piece

The recipe is very simple and delicious. Preparation in the absence of the octopus - a cocktail, will be no less delicious. And so, we need the octopus, which we previously thawed.

Finely cut red onion, take the spices for the fish (my local) and olive oil.

Put in a saucepan the onion and olive oil, a little passeruem until soft, then put octopus, spices and pour in water so that the octopus was closed by the liquid.

As soon as the water boils, add the wine and tomato paste and bring again to a boil.

If you love more spicy, you can add some chili. We spread our octopus on a plate, pour the wine and enjoy the delicate flavor of the seafood.
