Canada... It's not only maple leaves, the birthplace of hockey, but also a unique nature that somehow allows you to live a fulfilled culinary life. Once people have made a mistake and wiped out the Buffalo. But time passed, and other people already corrected this mistake, and delicious meat of these animals is again on our tables.

Ingredients

Now, bison meat is becoming more available. Recipe courtesy of cuisine is made based on the proposed packaging method of preparation.

Prepare the marinade for the meat. It would be something similar to Teriyaki. Mix: 2 tbsp rapeseed oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 finely chopped shallot, 2 chopped garlic cloves, 2 tbsp chopped pickled ginger, 1 tsp ground black pepper.

The ready mixture dip the meat and leave to marinate in the refrigerator at least two hours.

Let's garnish. Now it will be a simple salad of green lentils. Wash lentils and boil in salted water.

After 15 minutes of boiling the lentils, add the chopped small (with thimble) cube the potatoes and remove from heat after 5-7 minutes. Drain through a colander.

To the lentils and potatoes add chopped onion shallot, chopped cilantro and a few chopped garlic cloves.

Dressed with one teaspoon of vinegar and two tablespoons of canola oil. At the end we throw cut into quarters of pomodorini-cherry. Quite a bit of salt and pepper, and leave to infuse.

Take out the marinated meat from the fridge, cleaned from adhering onions and garlic from the marinade and spread on the hot with butter the pan. Bring to readiness*.

*Important note about meat. This dish requires a degree of cooking meat "a point": fillets of pink remains inside, but firm when pressed on top with crispy crust. To do this, fry the meat over high heat 1 minute on each side, then diminish heat to medium and fry for another 2-3 minutes on each side. Clarify that the time specified for the bison with a thickness of about 25 mm.
