Carrot buns-Latvian pies
Pies with potatoes and carrots Latvians recommend sprinkle with sugar and serve with honey, but I took a chance and made them salty. Turned out beautiful and delicious eateries cakes.

Ingredients

  • Carrots

    200 g

  • Potatoes

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    170 g

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Butter

    120 g

  • Sour cream

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

Potatoes and carrots cook separately. Make puree, add in each 1/2 eggs (raw), 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon of sour cream. Add salt to taste.

Make the dough. For this mix the flour (more may be needed), water and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Optionally, you can prisolit, I don't like it when the dough is not sweet and not salty. Allow dough to lie down for 15 minutes to rest.

Roll out the dough thinly, but without fanaticism. Cut out circles (I did it a bowl). The circles of dough raise edges and zasiyaet. Sheet greased with remaining butter and lay out our preparations.

In a prepared "cheesecake" spread the potato filling.

And on top of a thick layer of the carrot filling.

In a preheated 200 degree oven, bake patties for 25-30 minutes.
