Millet casserole with cabbage
Hearty, flavorful and juicy casserole with millet with cabbage and cheese. Good hot or cold, which is great in the summer heat.

Ingredients

  • Millet

    1 cup

  • Cabbage

    500 g

  • Water

    1 cup

  • Milk

    2 cup

  • Chicken egg

    5 piece

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Cream

    50 ml

  • Salt

    2 tsp

  • Cheese

    250 g

  • Ryazhenka

    0.5 cup

Measure out the millet and wash. Pour 1 Cup milk and 1 Cup of water, put on fire, bring to a boil, diminish the heat to low cook until all the liquid is absorbed. Leave to cool.

Melt the butter in a pan, fry the chopped cabbage until soft, pour in the cream mix simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Turn on the oven warming up to 180 degrees. A glass of milk mix with eggs and salt. Add the millet and stir. Cheese RUB on a grater.

To the mixture add the cabbage, cheese and fermented baked milk. A piece of cheese, you can leave some for sprinkling on top of casseroles. I bake in a cake pan so didn't leave.

Form grease with vegetable oil put it in our mix. Close the top with foil. Put in oven for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil, add the temperature to 250 degrees and bake another 25 minutes.

Served hot or cold, watering sour cream and garnish with herbs.
