Ginger biscuits
Delicious and tasty cookies for the holiday table

Ingredients

  • Butter

  • Brown sugar

    200 g

  • Maple syrup

    4 Tbsp

Take a large pan, place 200 g butter, 200 g brown sugar, beat with a spoon. Need to wait a bit so that the oil melted. Melted butter can be mashed with a masher for mashed potatoes, it will give fast and best result. Add to the resulting mass 4 tablespoons maple syrup, 2 eggs, 4 teaspoons of ground ginger and cinnamon, 12 g baking powder (you can add less, then the dough will be less crumbly), slightly warmed in a tablespoon over a flame med. All this mix thoroughly until more or less homogeneous structure. Add 400 g flour, careful not to stain the kitchen, stir, and then knead with your hands. The dough seems pretty cool, but after 3-4 minutes of mixing becomes supple and buttery. Uniform and plain dough should be wrapped in plastic wrap and send for 15-20 minutes in the fridge to "ripen".

During those 15-20 minutes you should prepare for baking: get a pan (preferably 2), put on it the baking paper, turn the oven to warm (a temperature of 180 gr.). After 15-20 minutes, the dough is removed from the film and parts rolled out in the following way: on a work surface spread a baking paper, between them is placed a piece of dough (small, with Portulaca) served another sheet of paper for baking. The piece of dough is flattened with the cutting Board and rolled to the desired thickness (optional; from the Filo is crunchy biscuits, and thick - soft). Then with a cookie cutter cut out shapes, which we spread on a baking sheet, not forgetting that two cookies should not touch each other.

Part of the cookies you can decorate with rainbow sprinkles, pressing the balls into the workpiece using glass.

When the pan is ready for baking, send it in the oven for 10-15 minutes (need control every 5 minutes, so the cookies were as soft as you want it). During this time we have time to fill second baking sheet, which is convenient.

Here is the finished cookies on the baking sheet. It was light, and then baked (if you remember, the dough has a brownish-beige color).

Free the pan for the next batch. Spread the biscuits so as to ensure maximum communication with air because it is dry.

"Empty" cookies you can decorate edible pencils for drawing, depicting everything your heart desires.
