Chicken with bell peppers
The recipe is from the book "How to eat in Rome." One of the variants of stewing chicken. It turns out very tender meat with a pleasant, delicate aroma of pepper. Perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

  • Chicken

    1 kg

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Pepper

    300 g

  • Dry white wine

    1 cup

  • Tomato

    500 g

  • Olive oil

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

Razrezaem the chicken into pieces. In a pan pour the olive oil, well heated and spread the chicken pieces.

And finally, last but very important ingredient of this dish - pepper. Cut it into cubes and put in a pan. Salt, pepper, all mix well and simmer for another 10 min.

At the last minute open the lid and allow to evaporate excess liquid. In the end the chicken should be soft and flavorful, and the sauce while stirring must squarcini. Total prep time for this dish takes about an hour.

Tip: if you don't have fresh tomatoes, substitute a thick tomato juice or canned tomatoes. A whole chicken you can also substitute chicken breast, cut into large pieces. For fans of the sauce are offered to take care of the house of bread as the sauce is the most delicious part of the meal!
