Steamed vegetables with turnip
My husband once again decided to cook lunch for me. And at the same time to participate in the contest "Fast from Moulinex". I gladly gave him the opportunity.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    175 g

  • Turnips

    175 g

  • Onion

    100 g

  • Celery leaf

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

Peel and chop the vegetables.

For the preparation take a pan with high sides or a roaster (I have a pot). Put in this order: layer of potatoes, layer cake. Pour lightly salted water to 150 ml. Set on fire being cooked/Park approximately 15 minutes.

During this time, lightly fry the onion.

Put the turnips and leave to stew for about 15-20 minutes on very low heat. (pictured, on the contrary, turnips with potatoes added to the onions) Periodically it is necessary to check the amount of water, if you need a little top up. At the end of quenching (for 2 -5 minutes before the end), add pepper (to taste) and 1-2 tbsp tomato paste (I didn't have), and mix well. If tomato is not, then when serving, season with soy sauce.

Remove from fire, wrap up in a blanket/sweater/coat and left to languish (from 30 minutes to...).
