Besan roti-bread with lentils on the Indian motives
Bread made from chickpea flour - Besan roti-a kind of Indian bread without yeast. This bread is very useful, as it contains a lot of protein, which is especially necessary during lent.

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    0.5 cup

  • Chickpeas flour

    0.5 cup

  • Flour

    1.5 cup

  • Broccoli

    0.5 cup

  • Spices

    2 tsp

  • Parsley

    6 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Water

    0.5 cup

Cooking

Washed green lentils place in a saucepan with water, bring to a boil. Cook the green lentils over low heat until tender 10-15 min.

Pour into a bowl the flour, chickpeas and wheat.

To the flour, add the parsley, cumin, coriander and salt, mix well. Instead of parsley you can use spinach, too, will be delicious.

Add the chopped broccoli.

Cooked and cooled lentils, add to the bowl. Add little water and knead the dough.

We divide the dough into pieces, roll out on floured table into a thin pellet diameter of the pan. Fry roti on a dry, well-heated frying pan on both sides for 2-3 minutes until Golden tan markings, not desiccate the tortillas should remain soft and collapse in the roll. Note that fried roti without oil!

Here are delicious roti I did. Serve with any spreads: caviar from vegetable marrows and eggplants, greens, vegetable sauce. Can be wrapped in roti filling, and you can tear off pieces and scoop up dips.
