Dear cooks while you promised German potato salad recipe my mother in law insist in the refrigerator, awaiting tomorrow, I want to share with you another option. This salad in my childhood did my Latvian grandmother. Mostly in the winter, that has always been available - potatoes, carrots, pickled cucumber and a little vegetable oil. It is so simple and quickly done, I was sure this last recipe I do have one, but was surprised to have not found. I invite you to favorite simple taste of childhood!

Here and write something, in fact, nothing. Vegetables pre-boil in their skins. They can be stored in the refrigerator for three days. Vegetables peel and cut into cubes.
Remove the cucumbers from the marinade and also cut into cubes.
Mix everything, add salt, black pepper and a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Grandma used to put fragrant sunflower, and my favorites unrefined flax. Still very tasty leaves with the oil from pumpkin seeds, salad gets amazing nutty flavor and a greenish tint.
Allow to stand 10 minutes and serve, sprinkled with green onions.
