Christmas cookies
Sugar cookies for the whole family, and a great decoration for the Christmas tree ^^ it's a cookie with candy inside.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    230 g

  • Salt

    0.25 tsp

  • Leavening agent

    0.5 tsp

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Vanilla

  • Caramel

    250 g

1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking powder.

2. Beat butter (better if it is room temperature) and sugar with a mixer for about 3 minutes (average speed). Add the egg, beat for 1 more minute.

3. Add flour mixed with salt and baking powder, beat on low speed until smooth. Add vanilla. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put into the freezer for 15-20 minutes or in the fridge for 40 minutes.

4. Frozen roll dough thickness of about 3 mm (table need to flour them). Cut with cookie molds the desired shape. In the middle of each cookie, cut a hole (see photo).

5. Put the cookies on the parchment (you need 2 layers of paper) in the middle of the biscuit to put the crushed candy canes (drops enough to cut into 3-4 pieces). Lay out the parchment with the cookies in the fridge for 15 minutes. Then bake in a preheated 160 degree oven for 6-8 minutes. Cookies should not fry! As soon as you see that Lollipop "boil", cookies can be removed from the oven.

6. Let the cookies cool directly on the parchment 3 minutes, then with a metal spatula (or knife) it needs to be carefully removed from the parchment. If cookies get too cool, the candy will not keep up with the parchment.
