Octopus in Portuguese with French
Polvo a lagareiro - a real name of the dish, the recipe of which I brought back from Portugal. Very tasty and impressive! I love all seafood, but not all of them popular in our country... But at the expanse of Cook I found the recipes from the octopus. So, my recipe may seem to someone interesting.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    0.5 kg

  • Garlic

    1 piece

  • Cilantro

    0.5 coup

  • Salt

    1 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

For its Polvo a lagareiro I took one chilled octopus, weighing 800 g. C let's start! Put on fire a large saucepan with water, let boil. Meanwhile, the octopus thoroughly wash under running water, remove the small black "beak" of the only hole visible reptile. This puts the finger into the hole, grab the black thing and pull her from the octopus.

In boiling water drop a peeled onion (more soft), NO SALT, put in place handsome. Cook until soft about 40 minutes. You can check with a knife, but I personally 40 minutes was enough! In the next pan of heated water, now salt it, and put our potatoes. Such a small 20-25 minutes is sufficient.

Meanwhile, in frying pan, pour oil, heat the oil put to fry the chopped cloves of garlic (I used 6 cloves - a whole head). Fry for two minutes until the delicious smell, but not bringing the garlic until it changes colour. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

With the finished potatoes drain off water. Get the octopus, opolaskivaniem it with clean water. Take your favorite baking dish, which is more like it. On the bottom in a circle put the potatoes. In the center lay a handsome octopus. Pour the oil with garlic. Put into the oven for 20-30 minutes. Octopus get, sprinkle chopped cilantro. Immediately submit the form to the table!
