Pork shank with braised sauerkraut
Delicious German dish.

Ingredients

  • Knuckle

    1.2 kg

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Cabbage

    1 kg

  • Potatoes

    6 piece

  • Mayonnaise

    3 Tbsp

  • Bay leaf

  • Garlic

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Cook pork 2 hours with onions, carrots, Bay leaf and garlic (salt to taste).

Separately simmer the sauerkraut (I have there is not a lot of potatoes), simmer until cabbage is mushy.

As cooked pork shank and cabbage stew, put into the form.

Prepare the sauce: mayonnaise, garlic and black pepper.

Pour pork sauce and put in oven for 30-40 minutes.
