Rice pudding with nuts
Kher is sweet rice cooked in milk with spices, and brought to a very thick consistency. There are many different ways of cooking, some even cook it 8 hours. But we are not going to do it, and prepare khir simple and affordable recipe. Sure, the sweetness you send in your favorite recipes!

  • Cinnamon

    1 Tbsp

  • Cardamom

    0.5 tsp

  • Pistachios

    1 Tbsp

  • Cashews

    2 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Raisins

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    3 Tbsp

To prepare khir will be out of Arborio rice. Boil the milk in a deep saucepan. Add the washed and dried rice. Cook over low heat 40 minutes, stirring constantly.

In a dry frying pan lightly fry the cashews until Golden.

Towards the end of cooking rice add the cashews and cook for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat, add sugar, stir and allow to cool

In rice, cooled to room temperature, add the pre-soaked and drained raisins, melted butter, cardamom and cinnamon, stir

Cher should be very thick. Before serving, need to get cold - the colder, the better. Spread the pudding in the bowl, when serving garnish with pistachios and sprinkle with cinnamon.
