Candies
I decided to try to make candy in the form of snow wreath, connecting them in the Christmas colors: green (tree), red (toe Santa Claus), white (snow). Turned out, I think, dressy. And tasty: airborne-chewable chocolate (don't know how to designate different) blends perfectly with the sour cherries and crunchy pumpkin seeds. And topping "Dr. Oetker" added bright colors.

Ingredients

  • Marshmallows

    40 g

  • White chocolate

    55 g

  • Cherry

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Topping pastry

  • Corn starch

  • Powdered sugar

Cooking

step-0
Prepare the cherries and pumpkin seeds. Cherry rinse if necessary and allow to dry. Seeds lightly fry in a pan or in the microwave to increase in size and appetizing smell.
step-1
Marshmallows need to take a little less in weight than the chocolate: 1 g marshmallow 1.3 g of chocolate. I have a 40 g marshmallows 55 g of chocolate.
step-2
Break the chocolate into small pieces, and marshmallows, if large, is also cut. Put them mixed together in a disposable pastry bag. You can use a thick plastic bag. Place bag in container and pour hot water (just so the water doesn't get in the bag). From time to time to stretch the bag to its contents well mixed.
step-3
When marshmallows and chocolate are melted and form a more or less homogeneous mass, you can begin to molding candy. I did it on a silicone Mat with markings in the form of circles for baking macaroons. I want to apologize for his unsightly appearance. He has long served and continues to serve me faithfully. If you don't have a Mat, you can draw circles on paper and put the paper in the stationery file. However, these candies can be arranged in any form. And you can just put cm layer in the silicone form, decorate, and then cut with a pizza cutter. Then the bag is not needed, simply heat the marshmallows with the chocolate in a water bath. It will be much easier and faster. But if you are looking for easy ways, continue.
step-4
Cut off the tip of the bag or package, to obtain a hole of about 4-5 mm in diameter (if smaller, harder to mold and candy are fine and break). And squeezed from a bag of spirals or waves, trying to stay within the circle and leave the center hole. Immediately decorate the wreath halves cherries, pumpkin seeds and sprinkling "Dr. Oetker".
step-5
It should be noted that the mixture hardens pretty quickly (unlike pure chocolate). So I'm after every candy bent the corner of the bag, secured his clothesline clothespin and again sent in a container with hot water. At this time, was decorated with a wreath. Then wet the bag with a towel, removed the clothespins and was formed following candy. That's what happened in the end.
step-6
Ready candy I sent for half an hour in the freezer. Meanwhile, mix cornstarch and powdered sugar (my 12 pieces had a teaspoon of the mixture). After removing from the freezer hardened candy, they need to gently roll them in the mixture of powder and starch, to give an even more snowy look and that is not stuck to the pan, on which you lay them.
step-7
In General, everything. Already you can taste. But if the candy will be stored for the day, they will dry up and acquire a more finished taste. Photos pre-new year rush was not very good, sorry.
