Macabre
Popular Jewish dish for Passover, when Jewish law forbids consumption of grain products exposed to the yeast (Wikipedia).

Ingredients

  • Matzah

    3 piece

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Water

    0.5 cup

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

Grind 3 plates of matzah. Soak in water, the remaining water drained.

Beat 2 eggs with salt and a pinch of sugar. Add 1/2 Cup of warm water.

Add the mixture of eggs with the water in the soaked matzah. On a heated pan with oil pour a third "test". Fry on both sides, to brown.

Can be served as a main dish. Can also be served as a dessert, sprinkled before serving with sugar and cinnamon.
