Milk loaves
Highly recommended! Crisp and fragrant, airy crumb. The recipe turns out 2 wonderful loaf. You can vary the additives (this time made one with carrots and one with sesame).

Ingredients

  • Water

    300 ml

  • Yeast

    2 tsp

  • Dry milk

    2 Tbsp

  • Flour

    500 g

  • Olive oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Sesame

Prepare the sourdough. In warm water (250 ml) add dry yeast, dry milk and 200 gr sifted flour. All mix well and put to rise.

Prepare the remaining components of the recipe: 50 ml of water and dissolve the sugar and salt, add olive oil mix thoroughly. Measure out 300 grams of flour (sifted). I wanted to diversify the bars, so I made 2 supplements - grated carrot and sesame seeds.

The dough is ready when it will increase 3 times and on its surface will be seen "activity" (bubbles appear, burst). It usually takes 30 min.

Mix the dough with the mixture, add the flour. Knead the dough 15 minutes, First it will be sticky and can remain on the hands / table, but in the process it will become more supple and, despite the softness, will cease to be sticky.

Protiven grease with vegetable oil. Preheat the oven to 230 degrees. Divide the dough into 2 parts. In one add grated carrot, sesame seeds to another. Knead well to additive evenly dispersed in the dough. Shape the loaves (made one twisted, the other classic). Give them a little rise, make cuts with a knife and bake it in the oven. The first 15 min bake in the oven with steam at a temperature of 230 degrees, and then decreases to 200 degrees and bake for 20 min. without steam When baking they rise very well.

Take out on the grill, allow to cool under a towel. I have very rarely cools down completely, still hot/warm start dragging the piece :)
