Description

Chocolate pie
Once a famous pastry chef and chocolate expert David Leibovitz called for a new York restaurant where we tried their chocolate cake copyright. After learning his recipe, David called him "Idiot Cake", but not in honor of Prince Myshkin, just the composition and preparation of this wonderful dessert was so simple that only a complete idiot in cooking would not be able to make it))

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    5 piece

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Brown sugar

    1 cup

  • Flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Cocoa powder

  • Dark chocolate

    300 g

Cooking

step-0
Chocolate melt together with butter in a water bath or in microwave, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Set aside.
step-1
In a large bowl, beat eggs with sugar foam, then add the chocolate-butter mixture and sifted flour, stir.
step-2
Butter one large form with removable rim (diameter 23 cm) ceramic or 6 portioned shapers (I cooked half the rules, so the molds 3). Sprinkle cocoa powder. Shake off the extra powder by flipping the form upside down.
step-3
Pour the batter into the prepared molds
step-4
Fill the form not to the end, the cake rises well, though and then settles. Tightly cover the top of the form with foil and place in a baking pan, pour enough water to cover the sides halfway, and bake at 175 °C for 1 h 15 min, I don't really bake without water and foil for approximately 50 minutes. Maybe that's why my "Idiotika")) a little settled, and the crust was crispy. But the middle was tender and moist. In the trail. time I will not deviate from the recipe and bake according to the rules.
