Wheat porridge with vegetables
I already wrote about this amazing wheat the spelt (March article). When I saw this wheat for the first time, was surprised and remembered childhood: why my Grandmother such wheat fed their chickens (the chickens, and organic eggs!) Since she's so useful, was to try dishes from her. I must say - on the fan. If You like to chew your food, these dishes are for You. If you do not like to chew, not worth it. I like it, but the son prefers the potatoes... a Matter of taste!

Ingredients

  • Wheat

    150 g

  • Broth

    600 ml

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Paprika sweet

    1 piece

  • Green onions

    1 coup

  • Corn

    0.5 cup

  • Spices

Wheat soaked overnight, and preferably for a day. Then pour it with the broth and cook for 45-50 minutes (bring to a boil, remove the heat and cook for on low heat to slightly boiling). Paprika and green onions cut into pieces.

Wheat is welded, now it will go faster. The broth drained (I'm on this broth, then vegetable soup I cook, very fragrant). Fry in vegetable oil bell pepper 5 minutes, add the onions, stir for a few minutes, add wheat and corn, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, mix and turn off the stove. Let the porridge stand for 10 minutes, then you can eat.
