Upside down Apple pie with a wet top layer of caramelized Apple and delicious dough.

Ingredients

  • Apple

    5 piece

  • Butter

    60 g

  • Sugar

    125 g

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    3 Tbsp

  • Butter

    75 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Sour cream

    3 Tbsp

  • Lemon peel

    1 piece

  • Extract

    1 tsp

  • Soda slaked vinegar

    1 tsp

  • Flour

    240 g

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. peel the apples (remove core and peel) and pour the lemon juice.

Cut the apples into wedges.

Melt the butter (60g) in a saucepan. Add 100 g of sugar and simmer until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes Golden brown.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, greased with butter ( 2 tbsp). Spread caramel on the Apple slices.

Apples sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tbsp butter. Apples put into the oven for 10-15 minutes.

While the apples are in the oven, prepare the dough. Separate egg whites from egg yolks. Combine flour and soda in a small bowl and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk the butter (75 g) and sugar (100 g) until a homogeneous mass. Add the egg yolks, sour cream, lemon zest and vanilla extract. Whisk the whites until fluffy foam and add them to the dough.

Remove apples from oven and sprinkle top with cinnamon. Spread the batter on the apples and bake for 25-30 minutes until Golden brown, readiness check toothpick.
