This recipe is for those who have the opportunity to purchase this healthy and tasty vegetable, with a slight bitterness! This dish goes well with roast meat, especially lamb!

Ingredients

  • Chicory

  • Butter

    40 g

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice

    2 tsp

  • Broth

    150 g

  • Spices

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

In a pan melt the butter, add the vegetable oil and well cook the chicory on both sides (well salted and pepper).

Turn down the heat, add the lemon juice and a little broth, seasoning and simmer for 1.5-2 hours in the pan, with the lid closed or in the oven (170°C), turning occasionally chicory and adding little by little broth, not to burn.
