Chicken meatballs in tomato sauce
Meatballs stuffed with chicken — easy and tasty dish. Aromatic tomato sauce with spices gives meatballs new flavors.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet

    300 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Salt

  • Cream

    1 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

  • Bread crumbs

    2 Tbsp

  • Nutmeg

    0.333 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

  • Rosemary

  • Tomato paste

    1 Tbsp

  • Orange juice

    50 ml

  • Ginger

    0.5 tsp

  • Thyme

  • Basil

  • Oregano

  • Tomato

    0.5 l

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Soy sauce

    1 Tbsp

  • Lemon

  • Water

    75 ml

Prepare the sauce. To do this, the tomato paste, dilute with warm water. Ginger peel and grate on a fine grater (you should get 0.5 tsp.). From orange squeeze juice. From the canned tomatoes, using a blender, make a puree.

Mix in a saucepan the ingredients for the sauce:diluted tomato paste, puree and canned tomatoes, orange juice, soy sauce Kikkoman, ginger, a pinch of rosemary, thyme, Basil, oregano, brown sugar. Mix well. Add ( optional) lemon juice (adjust to your taste). Put the saucepan on the fire, bring the sauce to a boil and low down the heat to low (cover to cover) and cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce should thicken to the consistency of thick cream. Pass the sauce through a sieve (optional) to obtain a homogeneous mass.

Prepare the stuffing for meatballs. Scroll to the fillet through a meat grinder.

In minced meat add salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs, cream, egg. Mince and knead well.

Wet hands with water and formed meatballs. In a frying pan of heated vegetable oil and on high heat quickly fry the meatballs on both sides.

Fried meatballs put into a clean pot or pan, cover with the sauce, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes on low heat. Serve meatballs hot, watering sauce.
