Pickled cabbage
You know, the season has passed, but the cabbage are doing all year round (blank here no place to store, and in Russia, harvested and stored in the cellar under nylon lid, stood all winter with no problems). Well, very simple recipe! Anyone can do it. And crunchy!...


  • Cabbage

  • Water

    1 l

  • Salt

    2 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Essence

    2 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

  • Bay leaf


Chop the cabbage into large chunks, put in jars, top with pepper, a few lavrusik
For the marinade take the COLD WATER from the tap (in Russia, take cool boiled water). 1 LITER of WATER add 2 tablespoons of salt (not heaped), 4 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp of vinegar (not vinegar!), all stirred to dissolve the salt and sugar, pour in jars and cover with lids (not twist!)
The next day you can start to crackle. You can chop and make salads, but I've spent just.
