Wonderful potato casserole with an interesting taste. Very easy to prepare. According to the description it may seem that the cooking process is not fast. It is actually very quick and easy.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    700 g

  • Onion

    350 g

  • Hazelnuts

    40 g

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Soy sauce

    2 Tbsp

  • Ham

    130 g

  • Butter

    70 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2.5 Tbsp

  • Salt

Cooking

step-0
First, make mashed potatoes. Peel potatoes, boil until tender in salted water. Drained almost all the water (I leave a little), pour in hot milk, add 40 g of butter. With a pestle, make a puree.
step-1
The hazelnuts are dried in a pan on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes (without oil, of course). Give it to cool slightly. Then the maximum is removed from nigo husk. Then was milled nuts in a blender to a fine crumb.
step-2
Ham cut into strips.
step-3
In a heated pan pour 0.5 St. l. vegetable oil, put the ham. Stir fry 1 minute, then pour in 2 tbsp of soy sauce, mix. And continue to fry on medium heat for about 5 minutes (the soy sauce should be evenly distributed on the slices of ham and almost evaporate).
step-4
Cut the onions not too finely. Put it in a heated pan (add 2 tbsp oil), add 0,5 tsp of salt and fry until Golden brown.
step-5
Refractory form liberally smeared with butter (20 gr.). I have a form elongated in size 21/13/5 see On the bottom spread half of the mashed potatoes.
step-6
Sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts.
step-7
Then spread the fried onions and top with the remaining puree. The top of the casserole smeared with butter (10g), so when baking formed crisp.
step-8
Put the potato casserole in a preheated 200-220 degree oven for 15 minutes (I baked it on the top heat). The finished pie sprinkle with fried in soy sauce with ham. Potato gratin with walnut-onion layer and a ham ready! Bon appetit!
