Makove-coconut pie
All fans of poppy and coconut cakes dedicated! And indeed lovers of sweet). Tender, flavorful, not dry cake, with a minimal amount of flour, chocolate glaze, just a delight in every bite! Come on in, help yourselves, I won't disappoint you!)

Ingredients

  • Mac

    80 g

  • Milk

    0.5 cup

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Brown sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Coconut shavings

    0.5 cup

  • Flour

    4 Tbsp

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Honey

    1 tsp

  • Dark chocolate

    100 g

  • Cream

    50 ml

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

In a saucepan boil the milk, add the poppy seeds and boil on medium heat until absorbed milk

Remove from heat, cool slightly, add honey, stir and set aside to cool to warm

In this recipe, I used cane sugar and Demerara cane pellets from Mistral. Granulated sugar adds not only sweet taste, but the caramel color milk), which I used in the ganache

Take a bowl in which we knead our dough, beat eggs with sugar until fluffy

Then add all the other ingredients for the pie except the finished poppy and mix thoroughly with a spoon or whisk ( I have chips and colored white, in the proportion 1/1)

Add poppy seeds, mix well

Put into a form, I have silicone diameter 18, put in a preheated oven 175С. Bake pie 30 to 40 minutes, check on dry skewer! I after 30 minutes of baking checked, the middle was still a little not ready, and after 3-4 minutes the pie was ready. Be guided by your oven, do not desiccate the cake!

For the ganache pour the cream into a saucepan, add the sugar and heat over low heat until the sugar is dissolved, do not boil the cream! Pour over the cream on the broken pieces of chocolate, stir well until smooth.
