Casserole with oatmeal and bacon
This casserole came from the southern States, a traditional dish for a hearty Breakfast. A well-balanced meal: there are proteins and healthy carbohydrates with dietary fibre, and fats in moderation. Most importantly - delicious, prepared quickly, and the products are the best available.

Ingredients

  • Oat flakes

    1 cup

  • Water

    2 cup

  • Ham

    200 g

  • Cheese

    100 g

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Milk

    3 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Bring to boil water in a large saucepan and pour cereal. Reduce the heat and cook for about five minutes, until the liquid is absorbed. Add half the oil and half of the cheese, melt and stir.

In a pan fry sliced small pieces of ham and add it to oatmeal.

In a bowl, combine eggs with milk and pour into the hot pan. Lightly beat the eggs in a pan and add them to oatmeal.

Put the mixture in a baking dish. Scatter on the surface of the pieces of the remaining butter and sprinkle cheese, salt and pepper.

Bake in a preheated 175 deg C oven for about 30 minutes, until Golden brown. Serve hot.
