Yogurt cake with citrus syrup
If you love moist cakes soaked in syrup then this recipe is for you! The cake just melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt

    400 g

  • Flour

    3.5 Tbsp

  • Jam

    4 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    350 g

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Water

    120 ml

  • Chicken egg

    5 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

For the syrup: mix 250 g of sugar with 120ml of water, lemon 2st. L. and orange juice (juice of 1 orange), orange zest and marmalade. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, Cool, refrigerate.

Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the yolks with sugar in a lush light foam

Separately vzbit proteins in the foam. Add to the yolks flour with the baking powder, then yogurt, lemon zest and lemon juice 1 tbsp, stir until smooth

Gently combine with proteins

Put the dough in a greased form and bake in a preheated 180C gr. 40-45 mins Up the finished cake should be brown.

Serve hot or cold with syrup
