Poppy seed cake with cherries
Simple and fun cupcake baked in a good mood, can become a delight not only for the stomach but for the eyes... unless, of course, You will have time to consider it before home leave on the plate only the crumbs :-)

Ingredients

  • Butter

    175 g

  • Flour

    350 g

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Sugar

    150 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    1 pack

  • Milk

    150 ml

  • Leavening agent

    1 pack

  • Cherry

    1 cup

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

  • Mac

    30 g

  • Powdered sugar

    3 Tbsp

Cooking

Melt butter and leave to cool.

Apple peel, cut into four pieces, remove the core and grate on a large grater, sprinkle with lemon juice.

Sift the flour through a sieve, mix with baking powder.

Add to the flour, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and milk, beat with a mixer.

Share the dough in half. One half mix it with grated Apple and pour into a muffin tin greased with vegetable oil.

The second half of the dough mixed with poppy seeds and spread on top of Apple batter, not stirring.

Spread on top of cherries and bake it in the oven for 50 minutes. Bake at a temperature of 160-180 deg. without preliminary heating.

Leave cake to stand in until about 5 minutes after baking, then remove from the mould on a rack and allow to cool completely. Before serving, sprinkle cake with powdered sugar. BON APPETIT!!!
