Description

Beef stew with tea
The recipe is very old, found mom in the magazine "Farmer" or "Worker", she herself does not remember :) the Meat is soft, tender, with a subtle hint of tea aroma and a light, almost imperceptible taste of the Apple.

Ingredients

  • Beef

    1 kg

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Black tea

    2 tsp

  • Salt

    2 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

Cooking

step-0
Wash the meat, dry and cut into long strips (can be arbitrary)
step-1
In the original recipe the meat should be lightly sauté, cover and simmer over low heat until almost cooked, as needed by adding water. I have not fried as my mom has a sick pancreas is fried and she can't. I sliced the meat washed and heavily water not draining, put the meat on a hot pan, put fire on low and 2 hours stewed meat under the lid, stirring occasionally. When the meat has become soft, salt it.
step-2
Apples cut into slices
step-3
Now about the tea. It is best to take leaf black tea, when the leaves will be steamed, they can be removed (who does not like). We had tea "Ahmad. Summer thyme". It is very small and the meat did not felt
step-4
Sprinkle the meat with tea.
step-5
Spread on top of the "cover" apples and cover with a lid (make sure the meat was still liquid, and it will stick to the pan). So simmer another 10-15 min., apples yellow.
step-6
I've not looked for beef, I have had detasils to such a softness that it was impossible for a fork prick :) was falling apart. Bon appetit, cooks! PS Sorry for the photo quality, the batteries suddenly went dead, making one shot and had to take pictures on the phone.
