For this dish I used a wonderful mixture of brown, red and wild rice TM Mistral Aquatica Color Mix. Thank you for Olechka Ольчик40!
Rice (250 g) boiled in boiling water for 10 minutes, adding a pinch of salt, thyme (0.5 CH. l), 1 clove of garlic, peeled and crushed the side of a knife.
Meanwhile, mix 100 ml of milk, 100 ml cream, 30 g grated cheese, 2 eggs, a little chopped parsley. Salt and pepper to taste.
With rice, drain water, remove garlic. Add the cream and egg mixture, mix well and place in cake pan. Bake for 30 minutes in a pre-heated oven to 180 gr.
While the terrine is baked, let's implement a simple but delicious sauce that will adorn the figure. Onion (1 piece) and 1 clove of garlic finely chopped, fry together until transparent bow. Add grated carrots, fry for another 3-4 minutes.
Add tomatoes, diced. Fry until cooked.
For color in the end, I add 2 tbsp of tomato puree (we have a sale), you can substitute 1 tsp of tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if the sauce is sour, add a little sugar. Saute a couple of minutes. Then all put in a blender and blend until smooth.
Ready to get the terrine from the mold, allow to cool slightly and then cut into portions, otherwise not be able to do it nicely. Serve with sauce.
