Pancake grandmother with millet
Pancake headstock with the grain, or simply say — pancake casserole. It's too delicious! And it's beautiful. And, I think, completely in Russian: hearty, generous and hospitable.

Ingredients

  • Milk

    800 ml

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Sugar

    3.5 Tbsp

  • Salt

    2 pinch

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Millet

    200 g

  • Water

    300 ml

  • Cream

    350 ml

Cooking

Changing the water several times, rinse the millet. Then pour it boiling water and leave for 5 minutes. Then drain in a sieve and again well rinsed.

In a saucepan boil water, add salt. Add wheat flour. Cook on low heat until absorbed water. Pour the cream, add the sugar and cook until tender.

To cook pancakes. Sift the flour.

Eggs and sugar beat until white homogeneous mass.

Gradually pour in milk, continuing to whisk on a low speed.

Pour the flour.

Pour in the melted butter.

Carefully stir to avoid lumps. The dough is ready.

Pancakes bake on a hot griddle on both sides. Ready pancakes grease with butter or keep in the saucepan under a lid.

The form for baking (well, if the baking dish or frying pan of equal diameter) grease with butter. Put a couple of pancakes. Then layer cereal, pancakes again. Repeat several times, the last layer should be pancakes.

Grandmother melted butter. And send in a preheated oven (180°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes.
