Cooking
The first thing to prepare young vegetables. In salted water boil the potatoes "in uniform", cool, peel and cut into slices. Separately boil the beans (after cutting both sides the tips) in salted water for about 10 minutes. Cool slightly and cut pods in half. Vegetables ready.
For cooking pancakes and the stuffing I used sunflower oil "Oleyna".
At the same time prepare the pancakes. For this, mix all the ingredients for pancakes (I use blender), eggs, salt, milk, vegetable oil, flour and soda, at the end pour in a ladle of water. Let the dough "rest" for 20 minutes and bake in the traditional way pancakes.
Pancakes the size should match the size of the form in which You subsequently will bake with filling.
Pesto sauce you can use ready-made, and you can cook it yourself! To prepare the pesto at home is not difficult, the main thing to stock up leaves of fresh Basil! All the ingredients (Basil, pine nuts, garlic, cheese, olive oil and a pinch of salt), or pound in a mortar or grind in a blender. The sauce should not turn into a smooth, uniform slurry, but must be with the grains of cheese and nuts. When making pesto at home, there is a "secret"... in Order to achieve the bright green color of the sauce, the Basil leaves need to carefully wash and dry with paper towel, being careful not to mash and not to damage the leaves themselves, as damaged leaves take on a dark color (by extracting the essential oils) and then transfer it to the sauce, which also affects the taste of the pesto.
Then prepare the Bechamel sauce. In a saucepan melt the butter, add the flour. Mix vigorously to avoid lumps. Without ceasing to interfere, pour in the flour mixture in a thin stream of warmed milk, bring to thick. Salt and pepper to taste. Ready to remove Bechamel sauce from heat.
Start assembling the casserole. Form for baking lay a baking paper, lightly grease the bottom with vegetable oil. Put on the bottom of the first pancake...
Lubricate it with a thin layer of Bechamel sauce. Arbitrarily decompose the previously prepared vegetables; potato slices and green beans.
Helping yourself with a spoon, spread a little pesto. And sprinkle with grated cheese. To cover the new man. And repeat in the same sequence: Bechamel, vegetables, pesto, grated cheese... damn.
Every two pancake, sprinkle the casserole with the milk quite a bit (!), literally 2-3 tbsp to Put the casserole until all ingredients. My casserole usually consists of 7-8 pancakes.
Top the last pancake grease a little Bechamel sauce and sbryznut slightly vegetable sunflower oil. Cover the form with the casserole with foil and bake it in a preheated 180 degree oven for 25 minutes.
Then remove the foil and bake another 7-10 minutes. The finished pudding remove from oven and let stand for at least 15-20 minutes before serving.
