Yes, it is vermeshelyu, I was surprised at first, and now almost always prepared.

Ingredients

  • Figure

    1.5 cup

  • Vermicelli

    0.5 cup

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Nutmeg

  • Turmeric

  • Broth

    1.5 cup

Cooking

Rice wash.

Pour oil in a pan and heat, add vermecelli and fry until Golden, or pink.

Pour the washed rice and stir.

Salt, add nutmeg and turmeric (if desired).

Pour the hot broth or water, rice is only lightly covered. Bring to the boil and reduce the gas to minimum.

When the rice is almost ready, mix it, as vermishel POPs up, if necessary, add a little broth or water. Cook until cooked. Use as a garnish.
