Spicy beetroot cutlets with sweet rice
Spicy and at the same time sweet... I'm not usually served beet burgers. But today I made a small modification to your classic recipe and went for it! Was on the table and meat dishes, but my ugly-looking cutlets out of the ordinary beet "broke" first. For the side dish I was served sweet rice with butter. Unusual and very tasty!

To prepare beetroot chops I took the semolina from the "Mistral". On the side I had rice Orient from "Mistral".

Beets need a good wash and trim the stems, drop in boiling water. Do not add salt!

I usually cook beets in the traditional way (2 - 2.5 hours on a slow fire). But when a little time, do it twice as fast. Boil beets for about an hour. Then I'm getting it from the boiling water and put into cold water with ice. From sharp difference of temperatures beetroot becomes soft, and at once you buff it out.

Grate the beets. On a fine grater or large - no difference.

In a bowl with beets, add chopped garlic, spices, salt, sugar and egg. There also grate the zucchini. Stir. If the beets are very sweet - sugar is not needed.

Now half a Cup of semolina. Add, stir.

It turns out that such a mixture. Leave for 10 minutes to semolina swelled a little.

Formed patties and spread on a heated pan with sunflower oil. Fry. On each side about 2 minutes - 3 at medium heat.

Put cutlets in a baking dish.

Prepare "sauce" for pouring. For this mix the tomato paste, spicy chili sauce, sour cream and 1.5 cups of water. Pour the meat and put in the microwave on medium heat for 10 minutes. You can put in the oven.

There was time to prepare side dishes. To do this, measure out 2 cups of rice.

I cooked in the slow cooker. It's faster. But you can cook rice in a saucepan. Wash the rice, put in slow cooker, sprinkle with salt. I usually add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil without smell. Cook the rice for 7 minutes on the "High pressure". I have an old slow cooker, so I don't show the numbers on the scoreboard (runs not all...).
