Carp with a bow and Antonovka on-the Patriarch
Karp goes perfectly with the tart autumn apples - Antonovka. This recipe turns the fish tender and its taste sets off the Apple-onion gravy.

Ingredients

  • Carp

    1 piece

  • Milk

    1 cup

  • Flour

    0.5 cup

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Apple

    500 g

  • Bay leaf

    1 piece

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Carnation

    3 piece

  • Butter

    2 Tbsp

  • Sunflower oil

  • Allspice

    4 piece

  • Broth

    500 ml

Peppercorns crush, add milk, salt. Carp cut into pieces and pour milk mixture, leave on for 15-20 minutes.

Separately in butter fry chopped onion half rings until transparent. Antonovka will remove the seeds and peel, cut into slices, add to the onions and simmer for another 5 minutes.

In a large saucepan or heavy pot put half of the onion with the apples, add cloves, Bay leaf, vinegar and sugar.

Cover it with the second portion of the onion with the apples, pour the fish broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer on low heat for 30-35 minutes.
