Fresh herring stewed with vegetables
Easy, fast and delicious! A low-calorie dish. Great in both hot and cold.

Ingredients

  • Herring

  • Onion

  • Potatoes

  • Carrots

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

Herring cut into small pieces, season with salt.

Onions cut into half rings.

Carrots to cut circles.

Potatoes cut into small slices. All products are taken in arbitrary proportions. Wet pan put a layer of herring, then onions, potatoes, salt, pepper, a layer of carrots. Repeat two or three times. Once done, pour vegetable oil and add half a Cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer on a slow fire until tender (try 20 -30 min).
