Star taten with starfruit
This tropical star cake turned out. Delicious. Carambola looks very advantageous in baking, and in combination with honey caramel - a miracle!

Ingredients

  • Honey

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Flour

    2 cup

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    140 g

  • Yogurt

    120 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Salt

  • Cannon

    1 piece

Sift flour slide. Add baking powder, salt, melted butter, sugar, egg and yogurt. Knead the dough until, until it becomes homogeneous and smooth. Roll the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.

For the filling, in a pan melt the butter. Add the sugar and honey, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the butter, sugar and honey will not turn into a Golden caramel. Remove from heat and pour the caramel into the baking dish of your Catana.

Cut the carambola into slices, remove the seeds, lay it in a circle on the caramel. I had the same carambola. You may need two, it depends on the size of your bakeware. Consider that when you're cooking.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it into a circle, whose diameter should be 2.5-3 cm larger than the diameter bakeware. Cover them with our stars, podotknul the edges of the circle inside. Put in preheated oven 200*C for 25-30 minutes. Ready cake cover with a clean towel and let stand for 5 minutes. Invert onto a plate.
