Easter Cake
Scullion Boris congratulates all with the holiday of Easter and shows how to cook a delicious Easter Cake and unusual to decorate it.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    600 g

  • Yeast

    7 g

  • Powdered sugar

    120 g

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Yolk egg

    4 piece

  • Dried fruits

    170 g

  • Salt

  • Saffron

  • Rum

    2 Tbsp

  • Egg white

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    4 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

1) Melt the butter in the milk. Soak the saffron in the rum.

2) Whisk the yolks. Add the powdered sugar, flour, yeast, saffron, soaked in rum and butter, melted in milk. Knead soft, elastic dough. It can be a little sticky, but the flour does not pour because it will be more airy.

3) Cover the dough with a towel and leave for 1 hour. 4) after an hour, roll the nuts and dried fruit in the flour and knead them into the dough. 5) Put the batter in the pan (filling only 1/2 of the form), cover it with a towel and leave for 1 hour.

6) Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. 7) Bake the cake 40-50 minutes. It should be lightly browned and grow. 8) Remove the cake and allow it 5 minutes to stand up before you pull it out of shape.

9) Prepare the glaze: mix lemon juice and powdered sugar. Whisk the whites and gradually add the lemon sweet mixture. 10) Brush your cake with icing and decorate it - this freedom for creativity! Bon appetit! Boris.
