Cod with prunes
Tender cod loin saffron sauce with prunes. Very simple and easy recipe, but at the same time spicy and very tasty. Try it, you will not regret!

Ingredients

  • Cod

    3 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Saffron

  • Broth

    2 cup

  • Flour

    6 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Prunes

    12 piece

  • Butter

  • Parsley

    1 coup

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Cooking

On a heated with olive oil pan fry the onion and garlic. Add the flour and mix well.

Add saffron and 2 cups of vegetable broth. Mix well, add prunes and cook until it thickens. Season with salt to taste. Sauce to be postponed.

Cod fillet cut crosswise into 2-3 pieces each. In total get 8-9 pieces. Cod salt and pepper. Preheat the pan with oil. Each piece roll in flour, dip in egg and arrange on a heated pan.

Fry the pieces on all sides. Put into a form and pour prepared sauce. On a small fire to heat for 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.
