Almond poppy seed biscuits
Soft, fragrant biscuits with poppy seeds and slivered almonds, covered with chocolate icing.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Powdered sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Vanilla

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Almonds

    1 Tbsp

  • Mac

    1 tsp

  • Flour

    2 cup

  • Salt

  • Cocoa powder

    1 Tbsp

  • Powdered sugar

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Water

    1 tsp

Cooking

Mix the soft butter and powdered sugar.

Add the egg, stir until smooth.

Add the taste of vanilla. Stir.

Pour the baking powder or soda. Add a pinch of salt.

Add ground almonds and poppy seeds. Stir.

Pour the flour and knead stiff dough.

Roll out into the reservoir. Cut out round shaped biscuits.

Baking tray lay a paper. Lay out the biscuits.

Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from the pan.

Mix cocoa powder, powdered sugar and water. The frosting is ready.
