I live in the suburbs, in the wonderful city of Orekhovo-Zuyevo, which stands on the Klyazma river. If to drive off from a city a little further, you can get in the forest, which is full of different berries. We as a family love to collect them, and in the winter eat in the form of jams and preserves. No doubt you have too many in the freezer such stocks. Enough to keep them there! Winter is over, soon the new will ripen))) take them out and cook the jam for my recipe for pancake day!!))

The berries get from the freezer to defrost. Before freezing I always thoroughly washed and cleaned of seeds (plum), twigs (strawberries), leaves (currants).

Mix berries with sugar each separately in different pots. The strawberries and gooseberries, add sugar 1/1, and to plum and currants 1/2. Add the cinnamon stick and star anise in each casserole, to your berry.

Cook over low heat about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. The cooled jam can be immediately served to the table.

Bake pancakes on your favorite recipe using oil "Oleyna". Fun and sweet to carnival!!!
